Upload Speed on Airtel Broadband

Y don't airtel provide 512 uploading speed at night. I can download at 50+ at night but upload still remains at 25-28 . Its really very hard to maintain 1:1 ratio on torrents. Any idea if one can get double uploading at night ???

hmm i'm in the home699 plan and my upload doubles after 11.

Yup mine too. Goes around 16 kbps.

I am on home 999 plus plan. Can anyone pls confirm if they get around 50+ in uploading too at night.

no... I get more like 29 KB/s... Are you sure that the "double" applies to upload speeds too?

Even if u do get 50 K + its advisable to keep upload speed @ 15-20% less than ur max upload speed, otherwise its goin to affect ur download speeds.

Tht's wht I am not sure abt. I asked cc abt it and they said tht u must get between 256 and 512 From his tone I am sure he has no idea abt uploading speed.

My plan is 256 KBPS and my upload is 58 - 60 KBPS. same as a download.

Upload speed is equal to download speed at double bandwidth time too. Don't go by the speeds in your BT client. Use a http based speed testing service rather.

From today morning i'm getting upload speed around 45 -50 on my airtel home 999 plan... where as no changes in download speed.....
if i got any increased speed in night time i will update this post .
m i alone or somebody else is getting similar speed ?

Dunno NetAnt I'm not in the 999 Scheme but AFA my scheme no changes in Upload speeds.. jus getting the usual 55 KB/s.
