Upgrading to MTNL TriB 1899 UL broadband plan

folks, I am planning to migrate to (MTNL Delhi) mtnl TriB UL 1899 plan from Trib UL 999. So all the delhites using this plan, whats the consistent speeds do you get with downloading torrents? Is there any buffering while watching youtube videos at 480p? And do you think that this plan offer good Value for money in comparison to other ISP's ? Please Reply :smile:
 
Damnit, why isn't MTNL Mumbai offering the same plan?
 
hmm.....ya would really like to knw if one gets 2MBps continuous from MTNL or not 😛
 
Personal experience having switched this month:Speeds top at around 1.75 Mbps.Torrents top at around 220 Kbps.Videos play okay.480p vids take a little time to load but not too much.
 
When I got 2mbps connection (August 2010 -October 2010, due to MTNL's fault) , 720p videos loaded quite smoothly. . there was little or no buffering time.So 480p shouldn't be much of a problem I guess.Regular Downloads : 230 kBps.Torrents :215 kBps.
 
I used to have 2mbps night unlimited. Speeds were good. Downloads were usually at 205-210 KBps
