Hi all,

I have a BSNL FTTH connection with Rs.999 per month plan (200Mbps).
Installed with Netlink HG323RGW modem/router. Unfortunately, this router only supports 2.4GHz band for WiFi because of which:
  • not able to utilize full throughput on WiFi (we get only around 30-50Mbps speed on smartphones)
  • facing slowness due to large number of neighbouring wireless networks operating at 2.4GHz band
Any help is appreciated in solving these issues.

I am kind of noob in this tech, please enlighten me with the available technical options in choosing the appropriate device and installing 🙂
Or should I deploy some APs inside the house? Please guide

Thanks

you can turn off the wifi in HG323RGW and use it in bridge mode and connect a gigabit dual band router. TP-Link C6/A6 has a good review, you can take a look on those.
