Internet is moving very very fast, and also govt of Indian is taking steps to provide high speed internet (ftth) to every home for small price. Will it affect the broadband plans.
What can we expect next year?

I hope they increase speeds of the plans 😀

Now that I have 100 mbps I want 300 mbps like airtel offers.

1 gbps after that!

They should boost the speed of current 1277 plan to 300 mbps and keep the 750 GB FUP. I dont care about the FUP its more than enough for me.
 
Offer 1 gbps for 2-3k per month with 2 TB FUP or more.
 
From current 150 Mbps up to 1.5 TB I hope they are looking at future plans that are 300 Mbps/1 Gbps up to 5 TB+. Above all, post FUP speeds of at least 20 Mbps on FTTH. Current 2 Mbps after FUP is terrible!

Easy rule of Economics. If Supply is high and demand is low, prices will drop.

Right now, customers wants more and more speed but the number of providers and their feasibility is low. That's why the prices are high.

But as soon as more and ISP deploys in multiple areas and the speed increases, it's price vs. speed/data would drop for sure.
