Unable to surf few Websites/Apps on BSNL Broadband

Hi,

My BSNL Broadband works fine except few websites and mobile apps. I am unable to open few websites and few mobile apps on bsnl broadbankd, however the same website/apps works fine in my other internet connections.

e.g. I able to open www.hdfcbank.com, however when I try to open netbanking.hdfcbank.com, it does not open. sometimes it shows "page can not be displayed' or sometimes no response.

When I tried 'tracert' of netbanking.hdfcbank.com, it's not getting response from Mumbai vsnl. Pl see below stack trace.

I am getting this error since last 2-3 years. Request you to help on the same

I assume you have already try changing DNS. The only other option I suppose is to use an VPN with an Indian IP.

You can try complaining and then escalating the problem with Nodal and Appellate Authority. Not sure how well that work on BSNL.

The exact URL netbanking.hdfcbank.com cannot be opened from any connection. It is a https only website, with no redirect for some reason. Try Welcome to HDFC Bank NetBanking

No, i am not directly using netbanking.hdfcbank.com. I open www.hdfcbank.com site, there from login button, it opens up another window where I need to click 'Continue to Netbanking', it redirects Welcome to HDFC Bank NetBanking.

This page is not opening up. sometime it goes into loop or sometimes it displays page can not be displayed.

Sameway, I am unable to open few other sites as well..

Can you pl suggest what could be the issue?

No, I have not tried changing DNS. Can you pl guide me the steps? Which DNS do I need to try? Pl suggest.

use google dns. Look through the configuration of your router and search for DNS. There will be 2 boxes there, primary dns and alternate dns(or something like that). Put 8.8.8.8 in first box and 8.8.4.4 in the second. Save/apply settings and try loading those websites again.

hdfc net banking page working fine with me .. yesterday only i renewed my quickheal license by hdfc netbanking . and moreover i am a frequent user of hdfc net banking through my bsnl isp never faced any problem .check whether any firewall or antivirus is blocking the payment or not
