Hi,I have just taken a BSNL Data One plan using the WA3002 G4 router. I am able to connect to the internet from my desktop. I would like to access it from my laptop too. However I am unable to log into my router config page.My network settings are as follows:C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>ipconfig /allWindows IP Configuration Host Name . . . . . . . . . . . . : admin Primary Dns Suffix . . . . . . . : Node Type . . . . . . . . . . . . : Unknown IP Routing Enabled. . . . . . . . : No WINS Proxy Enabled. . . . . . . . : NoEthernet adapter Local Area Connection: Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-0B-2B-00-98-09 Dhcp Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.2.81 Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.2.1 DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 202.63.96.1 202.63.120.1 NetBIOS over Tcpip. . . . . . . . : DisabledPPP adapter dataone: Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : Description . . . . . . . . . . . : WAN (PPP/SLIP) Interface Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-53-45-00-00-00 Dhcp Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 117.195.131.143 Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.255 Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 117.195.131.143 DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 218.248.255.146 218.248.255.139 NetBIOS over Tcpip. . . . . . . . : DisabledI tried entering 192.168.2.1 in IE and Firefox but to no avail, the router page does not open. PROBLEM: UNABLE TO ACCESS MODEM/ROUTER PAGES.WA3002 G4 router
@ssarkarhyd.
In TCP/IP properties
enable Obtain IP address automatically
IN DNS try open DNS 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222
Click Advanced and enable Default for netbios settings.

Now check Default Gateway.should be 192.168.1.1 ( unless u have changed it )
Still unable to access modem/router pages with power on reset to factory defaults.
For ref:
UTSTARCOM WA3002-G1 MULTIUSER GUIDE FOR BSNL DATAONE USERS - India Broadband Wiki

For accessing Wireless menu you may have to try 192.168.1.1/main.html or home.html
or http://192.168.1.1/hwhtml/pMain.html ( rechecking for any more options !)

Your existing DNS . Why different ? are you on BSNL BB or some PVT ISP? Since you say desktop is working ( settings are available here for restoration )try in both Desktop and laptop. Your subnet mask is also "fishy" why 255.255.255.255 and 255.2155.255. 0?Ip address one Local LAN and another BSNL NIB Delhi . These are the errors when you type IP etc. Safe method try Obtain IP automatically.INDIA ANDHRA PRADESH HYDERABAD 17.38378.467 - +05:30 Net Speed ISP Domain DSL SOUTHERN ONLINE SERVICES SOUTHERNONLINE.NET IP Address Country Region City Latitude/Longitude ZIP Code Time Zone 202.63.120.1 INDIA ANDHRA PRADESH HYDERABAD 17.38378.467 - +05:30 Net Speed ISP Domain DSL SOUTHERN ONLINE SERVICES SYSTELINC.COM Country Region City Latitude/Longitude ZIP Code Time Zone 218.248.255.146 INDIA KARNATAKA BANGALORE 12.98377.583 - +05:30 Net Speed ISP Domain - NATIONAL INTERNET BACKBONE NDL1NMS-A.SANCHARNET.IN IP Address Country Region City Latitude/Longitude ZIP Code Time Zone 218.248.255.139 INDIA KARNATAKA BANGALORE 12.98377.583 - +05:30 Net Speed ISP Domain - NATIONAL INTERNET BACKBONE NDL1NMS-A.SANCHARNET

@ ssarkarhyd try resetting router. back of the router there will be hole. take any needle or some toothpick like object. it will reset the router to factory mode. then reconfigure the router and then change the password of router. problem is i think some one logged into your router and changed details 😕

did you manually configure 192.168.2.81 ??better set it to automatically get ip address.. by default router ip address is 192.168.1.1 have you changed it to 192.168.2.1?
