Unable to configure PPoE in D-link DI524

Hi Guys, I am unable to connect DI-524 to internet using PPoE. I am able to connect to internet using the same router when I use windows XP dailing. I used the standard wizard procedure to configure PPoE on D-Link router, but for some reason i am not able to connect to internet. Did any else come across similar probs ?

No.

Look into the wiki on how to configure a PPPoE connection. Don't use widgets or other programs. Enter the values manually, and enter correct username/password. Save+Reboot the modem, and it should work fine.

Your modem's manual will contain the details on how to do so. Generally you go to 192.168.1.1., click on connections, delete the old entries (if any) and fill this:
Wan Type: PPPoE
VPI / VCI : 0/35
Encapsulation : LLC
Default Route: Enabled
Username: username!
Password: password!
Use DNS : Enabled
Click on Apply


Save+Reboot.

Enter DNS 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222
MTU may be set to `1492 now itself.
Enter your UserId without @ bsnl . in

Still problem post screen shot of Device status.
