Unable to Change MTNL Login Password

So far I had been using the CA Number as the password in the ADSL modem.

Inspired by some posts on this forum, I thought I should change the password. So I visited register-mtnldelhi-in and logged in using phone number and CA number. But when tried to change the password, I got this error:

-- dead tinypic image removed --

I called 1504 and they said it cannot be changed from that site. Then a few minutes later they said that it has to be changed from our end and it is better to keep the current password. :speechless:
 
i dont think so there's a need to change the password .
why you want to change it?
 
I would advice you not to change the password,
even if someone gets your password ( CA number) they wont be able to use it as they require your line to use the internet.
 
But they would be able to login to the selfcare website, view name, address, mobile, post complaint etc., request for change of broadband plan etc.
 
well ok
It seems that you are adding very simple type of password thats why you are getting this error try to add some complex password like Password@12345.
