Installed.. and using it now.. Its good.. Though much of diff between the old version..

I had downloaded Ubuntu and installing it, but i am struck with select the partition.
How can i select the partition, i need to delete Windows7 from C drive and install Ubuntu in C drive? :S

What it will do, if i select entire Disc. It delete all the data from D, E, F and G drive too. :S
 

is this the first time you would be using Linux?

if yes, do not install ubuntu through that route.

install using WUBI.

if you have made the CD, insert it while you are in Windows.
 
If i run the CD through windows......

It asks 3 option

1. Demo and Full installation
2. Install Inside Windows
3. Learn

right u should try that option before you go for a proper installation that would require partitions!

btw are you using windows 7?
