The payment authorization hold feature allows us to authorize hold your upfront fare amount before your trip begins. This temporary authorization hold will show up as a pending charge on your account, and depending on your bank, you may get a message for the same. Do not worry, as this is only a pending charge which is converted to a full charge only after the trip completes.
So once you request a trip, an authorization hold is placed on your card-which will show up as a pending payment. Once the trip completes, this pending payment gets converted to a final charge, and only then is your bank account debited. The amount debited will be the final charge only. You can check your bank account statements to verify that the final charge is correct.
