So. AdBlock is able to block native ads on services like Twitter?

I think so, that is the reason they got kicked from Google Play? Altering the behavior of other apps?

It was related to running a proxy server to filter ads on mobile browsers. Web ads are easier to detect as they come from different servers. Native ads are very different. They are delivered as part of content.
I am not sure if they are able to temper with content delivered by Twitter.
Can anyone confirm if AdBlock Plus (or similar apps) can block promoted tweets/trends/accounts/whatever in official Twitter app on Android.

Weird enough, I have never seen any ad on Twitter App.
With Adblock turned off.
