Triband Disconnects

I know I posted this sometime ago; but I guess you need the right forum for the right questions. So here I go again....Since the conversion to 2Mbps on my triband 590NU plan, I have been having worrisome nights. I am unable to connect to the internet anytime after 12.00am in the night and 8.00am in the morning. This has been happening for the past one week. During the day it works perfectly fine.At night the ADSL link lights stop blinking after trying once and the router doesn't attempt to connect again. BUT! during the day it will go crazy trying to reconnect if the link were to fail.Any clue what's going on? 🤔
 
man!!! to my surprise i've found that the SNR margin keeps on going down 😱like when i restarted my modem, it was 31 and it kept on dropping and it went down till 12... :huh: what the heck is going on??? :angry:
 
Hmm... My triband connection was up yesterday night from 12.00 am onwards, which was a relief. Dunno whether meeting the local SDE did the trick?I realised that some of the websites aren't opening up since the 2Mbps upgrade. viz.microsoft.com (times out)citibank.co.in (timesout)blogger.com (timesout)Checked yesterday night even my SNR was hovering around 13 yesterday? 😱 I dont' know whether I should be bothered about it though.
 
yeah it does diconnect like carzy very very frequently but this is the speed i get "Time to Download: 24.766second(s) Your Bandwidth: 1822.78Kbps (1.780Mbps)".which is so strange but then why does it disconnects so often.
 
welcome to the club buddy...my snr has been between 10-12 since saturday's 2mbps upgrade...and disconnections have been occuring every 30 mins on average 🙁
 
SNR pretty constant at 28 now 🙂 would be better if it crosses 30 😀

these sites are opening perfectly fine at this end...can't really say why r u not able to open time...may be u'd like to play with the DNS...keep posted...
 
231 kBps on HTTP downloads
192+ kBps on torrents
130+ kBps on limewire

on my current router settings, without any disconnects. I have attached images for you to look at, let me know if I should tweak it any further.

all time low:SNR Margin 8 12 dBLine Attenuation 38 44 dBData Rate 2013 260 kbps🙁 🙁 🙁and net disconnects like every 10=15 mins during daytime & @ nite stays stable for a max of 2-3hrs ...
 
much similar to my problem.. try my solution. as above link...it appears to have workedfor me.. not much disconnection today.
 
my adsl light switches of automatically and then switches on . what could be this problem.can someone pls help.there is no response from the helpdesk too even after numerous complain.i hope anyone from this forum could give a quick solution and has someone come across the same proble.i am from bandra west .does anyone know the number of any enginner who must have come across to their place and must have got this direct contact number that would be agr8 help too.thnx
 
just check the power connection...if it's stable or not...very little power fluctuation can cause this problem...i face it whenever the electricity comes and sometimes when it goes...no solution till now, so i'm just living with it 🙁
