trial versions by extraction date

Hi guys, Most of these trial software 've some trial period. Now the trial period is by modified date or what method. Sometimes after getting a trial either through cd or through net sometimes just after installation the software says the trial period is over? What is going on here, anybody has any clues?

well sometimes the trial softwares are released with a predefined period of working period. for example... betas are often released with 3-4 months of working period. so if u install a fresh copy of a beta after that period has expired, it still might not work.in other cases the programming might be faulty.

A good example is the Nero Demo Version.But there are cracks to fool these working period limited demos !

a very good example was abt 4-5 months old version of nod32 . You take ur system date 15 years ahead install the program then restart pc and make ur pc date correct . And after that ur nod32 will expire 15 years and 1 month later . What a stupidity done by them :lol: I think its corrected in new versions .
