TRAI sets price for the STB

So. Who pays for repairs & replacements?
 
Its very obvious for first 3 yrs DTH provider and then customer.
This is the basic reason all the DTH players do not offer STB on rentals. Because you are not liable to pay rental for a faulty product
Just read the original regulation. It clearly states that for first 3 yrs charges for maintenance and repairs will be nil
 
I hope Soon they would implement the Free Alignment/tuning of CPE if the subscriber is in validity period. 🙂
