I love how they cannot even follow their own guidelines of implementing 2mbps by 2015.

and they had a golden chance to fix the whole fup mess and from the looks of it they changed nothing. bsnl can continue to inject ads. interrupt browsing sessions. and spam you with bandwidth usage alerts.

Do you think they are fool? Its all paid lobby. Everything has a price.
Even Jio doesn't want min speed to be more than 512kbps so it never happened.

Jio is (mostly) wireless. Broadband speeds only apply to wired broadband. I have no idea what speed Jio is offering post FUP on their existing FTTH network based connections.

And if you think that TRAI is spineless... Do remember, they are behind one of the strongest network neutrality regulations in the world here in India. Facebook tried their best. Spent millions of dollars. They did the right thing in the end. In any case, regulations do not improve speed for the end user. Competition does. And a lot of smaller players are emerging in all parts of the country mocking the services and plans offered by the much larger players.

That we'll know soon when Jio reveals pricing.

I never said spineless but intent less.
