Hello Everyone,
I just opted for Jio free trial (150mps) plan. Jiofiber router has inferior coverage, so I have connected my old tp-link (AC750 Wireless Dual Band Router - Model No. Archer C20) router using a LAN wire(Dynamic IP mode + DHCP Disabled).

Now, When connected with the TP-Link 5g band, getting only 70-80mbps speed.

Please suggest if is it possible to somehow get full speed on the external router?

Thanks in advance!!

that also has 10/100 Mbps ports unfortunately

Thanks. Can you please suggest what should I do? Even standing next to the Jio router and connected to the 5GHz band, I only get 40-45mbps max speed. I am on 300mbps plan.
I bought the RE205 AC750 to extend the 5GHz signal but the speed on it is even worse.
Same situation on 2.4GHz band too. My Jio router is SKYWTF1_JCOW407_R2.9
Thanks.

@ViK619 poor speed could also be the result of bad installation. Check if the fiber has sharp turns and you have that small white box thing.

Rasie a ticket for moving the router to a different place in the room.
