TP-Link has released a firmware update to enable OneMesh on the Archer C64, as promised at the time of launch..

This makes it on par with the Archer C6/A6 in specs and makes it the most affordable router with gigabit ports, beamforming & OneMesh, in addition to higher 400mbps speed on the 2.4ghz band.

The enclosure is shrunken down and compact because it uses a Mediatek SoC with RAM, storage and processor stacked on top of each other.

Still a sore point that OneMesh only works with range extenders and doesn't work with router in AP mode.
