I've bricked my archer v2 during pandemic while trying to install openwrt, it is stuck in boot loop so can't risk frying up another one
All my devices are on wifi and i want to use wireguard client directly on openwrt

Any speed issues? CPU throttling (Since i'll setup wireguard on it)

C6 V3 with MT7621. If you have software and hardware offloading enabled, then there should be no issues but don't expect your device to do anything crazy once it's being hammered by WireGuard.

You can get an avg. of 100-120Mbps with WireGuard and there will be no drops with the above enabled, even with wireless on.

I have stopped using TP-Link a long time ago. I needed better hardware for my use-case.

Does the latest stable OpnWRT run without issues in Archer A6 v3? Any complete guide to follow?

Just download the factory image, and upgrade the same way, like you'd do a normal TP-Link firmware upgrade. That is all.
