To pay Rs 499 separately-Clarify?

Hi all,I am from Tamilnadu.I've decided 2 takeup a unlimited plan from airtel.Is it necessary to pay Rs.499 separately for a landline connection 2 access Airtel broadband unlimited planSo (initial first month) total amount for unlimited plan wud be 499+900(for 128kbps)=1399?Please clarifyThanks
 
why 499.....go for lowest rental plan perhaps Rs 250.....also force them u want to take only DSL and no telephone connection
 
yeah, you have to take a landline connection for the unlimited plans as they are "top-up" plans.... anyway if you take the 499 plan, the total actually ends up being around Rs. 1651 after tax and all that (also including the modem rental of Rs. 99 every month).
