Time for our fight against censorship #protectFoE

With threat to internet and freedom of speech getting bigger and bigger , Its time we too stand up against such oppressions. The Centre for Internet & Society has orgainized a Panel discussion event on Free Speech Online in India under Attack? in banglore coming 21st . Even if you guys cant take part , spread the word . The #tag is #protectFoE

Nothing will happen. If it is implemented, it will invite corruption.
My friend has a cyber cafe. Obviously, no cc admin uses license soft. They get frequent raid and he has to bribe them. That is not it. Every month, one constable comes every month and take 10k. and also when any team comes for raid, they will take their share.
 
Its better to act now , than feel sorry later. IT act went through silently.. and there might be some amendments coming in months .. Also bribing is totally different from what we are talking here. Who are goign to bribe to post freely online ? Sibal ?

exactly .. The problem here is , people who are soaked in yesteryear's ideology want to impose their outdated ideology to internet , which is far beyond their understanding and these people will never get the concept of it. Internet is the only one which is truely a global phenomenon

It's not technology in question here.....it's our basic rights.......we have the freedom to speech.
