They will install from year end. My only hope is the privacy bill being passed by that time.
The govt needs warrant to search my hope. Here the power utility is invading my privacy by checking data in real time and switching appliances if it thinks that i am using more power. It can also have time based tariffs and not unit based tariff so in peak hours i will be charged more.
 
Yes what I meant is system upgradation should not take more than 1 week. (at most)

they upload all connection and usage data online. how they did that, only god knows. 4 months is a short period of time if it was all done by hand.
 
Whose payment services are they using? I won't be interested if DHBVN has their own payment gateway, one failed transaction and money is in limbo forever. Best of luck getting it back from the goons sitting at their offices...
 
Have not paid online. Water bill is pretty good. They use PayU gateway and there are some additional charges but it works pretty nicely.
 
here i was hoping to see good drop in the bill because we have pretty much moved all lighting installations to led from cfls and tubes. everything has been negated with this price hike.

So basically, it is also the fault of the previous government that DHBVN hiked power tariffs in Haryana under their rule.
 
My sector is in the initial batch of sectors where they are implementing zero load shedding network.
