Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan are set to reprise their respective roles in the show.

No release date. Coming on Disney+.

The Comic Con panel played a small footage of Zemo reading a threatening message. So, yes Daniel Brühl is reprising his role of Zemo.

Wyatt Russell Cast as U.S. Agent for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier

As some had suspected in the wake of a Steve Rogers-less world, it appears the upcoming Disney+ show will introduce one John Walker — probably more commonly known as U.S. Agent.

Walker will be played by Wyatt Russell, most recently of JJ Abram's Overlord fame. Coincidentally enough, Russell also happens to be the child of another name you might know — Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 star Kurt Russell.

As the name suggests, U.S. Agent/John Walker was turned into a pseudo-Captain America experiment to work solely on behalf of the United States government. He did, however, make his comics debut as the supervillain Super-Patriot so it's yet to be revealed if Russell's take will be friend or foe to the new Captain America (Anthony Mackie) and Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan).

John Wick writer Derek Kolstad, who’s had a hand in developing the scripts for the six-episode run, recently took over Discussing Film’s Twitter account and responded to several questions about The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and hinted that the superhero show will be tackling some heavier-than-expected social and political themes.

There’ve been rumors that the plot will involve the government refusing to acknowledge Sam Wilson as the new Cap, too, which potentially ties in to the recent casting of Wyatt Russell as super-soldier John Walker .

Who agrees Captain should have given the shield to the Winter Soldier?

Not me. Winter Soldier went through years of mental conditioning and killed hundreds of people. Even though he has been cured, it would still not be right to hand him the shield. What if there was a way to activate Hydra's conditioning again? And so far only Cap trusts him. Everyone else might still be wary of him. Its too big of a responsibility to hand him the shield.

Also if you look to Bucky as a person, he needs a break. He has been through a lot. He still can't get over the fact that he murdered all those people. He still sees them in his dreams. And on top of that, you ask him to go save the world - it doesn't sound right.

Sam on the other hand is loyal, honest and calm guy. Not to mention he is a skilled fighter and a great pilot. He is also trusted by other Avengers. All this matters and make him a better contestant for the shield.
