Their lucrative without fup plans were almost successful in luring me to opt reliance broadnet. I called the toll free number to subscribe a connection. The executive took my request and said i wil be getting a confirmation call within 48hrs and broadband wihin 5 days, but i didnt get a call after 2 days...i called dem up again, this time they said i wil get call within 24 hrs...as expected..no call again. Called dem again after 24 hrs. Was told wil get call within 12 hrs.....sooooo.....yes, no call again. Lol i was so frustrated by their lies and the poor behaviour of one of the male executive...females on the other hand spoke nice and explained well..but the male was very dumb cnt even speak eng properly and seemed bit rude ( how do reliance expect to survive with such a poor service, very shameful on its part).
Ok coming back to the problem.. Yes its almost a week after 5 calls still no confirmation of anykind. And the people here who think 5 calls and a week time is very less, sorry u guys need to learn a lot in life. U dnt have any idea in what era we r living this is not 1980s. ACT fibernet takes max a day to give new connection. Resloves complaints within 24 hrs...very less downtime...i was a fool thinking of cancelling my ACT and goin for reliance...mainly due to the FUP fee plans...
I had read a lot of reviews bout other users spitting and breaking head with reliance but i thought times might have changed... And the service (in my location, a metro city) would be good without downtimes etc...but no, seriously im thankful the lazy a**holes didnt give me a connection and gave me ample of time to reconsider things. If im bein played somuch before gettin a reliance connection.. Just imagine what will happen if i had subscribed to one.
Omg!! Monthy downtimes of 10 days...bad bills..i even read people gettin bills after disconnection..wow.. Yes this is not time for relying on ADSL. More importantly reliance.
My sincere advice plz dont go only for cheap plans...go for a reliable company, no matter if u have to spend lil extra, go with the company which listens to u. Go for a service with less downtimes. Which will avoid u from speaking to CC on the first place. And i never knw such poor CC existed before speaking to reliance.
Howevr i love ACT. cc great ..service great..
U guys can go for Airtel too cuz i always hear positive reviews about CC and service.
I was bout to take a risk for which i wasnt prepared at all..im a person who wants peace of mind. I can live without internet but cnt live with trouble/frustration and more imp cnt waste my time on silly issues which can be avoided in d first place. Reliance is one of them. Thank god to the broadband community for their reviews. And my own experience and inner voice.. Plz if u want peace of mind...AVOID RELIANCE. May b im wrng..but i got mindfckd by reliance..even before subscribing to their connect. Thankgod..
