ZEEL's sports expertise Ten Network to revamp the entire bouquet

Ten Sports will become Ten 1, Ten Action will become Ten 2, Ten Cricket will become Ten 3 and Ten HD will become Ten 1 HD. Ten Golf which the network recently converted to Ten Golf HD will continue to remain the same.
"There will be a new logo and brand message which we will unveil soon" added the official. The new look will hit the television from 1 April 2016.

Good simple branding, as followed by Star Sports and other Sports channels worldwide.

Star has pretty much confirm channels 1 and 3 for Cricket. 2 and 4 are for Football and other sports.

I am pretty sure during an ICC tournament, a match was broadcast on 4 & not on 2. 1 & 3 had the more popular match. 2 was playing some other content.

During Worldcup they would have to deploy all available channels (including GEC, Regional 😀) for Matches if match overlaps. But now with 4 Sports channels, they may not have to broadcast match on GEC/Regional channels, unless for regional language feed.

^^^ Only channels are changing their names, they may not be changing their distribution contracts with DTH, Cable operators. So all TEN channels will continue on all platforms as earlier. Same like what happened after STAR Sports rebranded.
