I wanna try out a new internet service and so don't wanna use MTNL Broadband for some time. Is there anything that can help me temporarily disconnect my connection for around 3 months or so?

That's great! I don't use landline at all, so that's not an issue for me. 🙂And if after 90 days I don't wish to switch back it's fine, isn't it? Or will I have to compulsorily take the connection back?And charges for short and long term are the same I believe, right?

I think you will have to take the connection back, but you can disconnect it then. I'm not sure of the charges of safe custody, If any. Better get it confirmed from the local exchange. It's very near to your home I suppose :smile:
