I don't know if this will help consumers much though. The tarriff changes seem to affect high priced, high bandwidth connections which are presumably used mainly by corporates.

It should benefit the consumers.ISPs like MTNL,In2cable,7star don't have their own gateway.They take leasedlines from VSNL, etc..So this means big price cuts for them.....which can only be good news for us
Uh...exattnet which sells bandwidth to 7star already has terribly low rates. But 7star just doesnt want to give "unlimited" services above 64K. They have a 128K package but it just sucks. Too costly and they block EVERYTHING! 😕
