Tatasky Logo Removal?

Anyone know if the huge Tata Sky logo at the bottom of the channels is an overlay created by the settop box, or is it broadcast with the logo? I was wondering if I'll still have the logo if I bought a thirdparty settop box.Or are there any other high quality providers that don't add their own logos?
 
i hate the yellow msg icon which keeps popping up every time in middle top of th screen

No, but according to Wikipedia, NDS/Videogard can be emulated with a Dragon CAM. I'm not sure if Tata Sky will be able to find out and block the digicard.

Videocon D2h logo is very transparent and hardly noticeable.
 
Tata Sky removes the logo on rare occasions for an hour or two on some channels. Do any of the other providers do the same (even late at night)?
