Tata Sky Minidish Installation Issues

I stay in a flat. Are there any pre-requisities (direction, floor hight etc) for installation of minidish installation?I'm sick of my cable fellow and want to move to Tata Sky. Since the initial investment is abt 4.5k, before putting in that money I want to check if installation of minidish needs some pre-requisites. Please share you know-how in this.

You need a clear view of the sky in the north east. If you're on a low floor that may be a problem too coz the angle of the dish tilting upwards can't be too steep. If you have access to your building terrace that would be perfect, they won't install it on a shingled roof coz their engineers must have easy access to it at all times. Just call them up and ask for an engineer to assess if you can go in for it, I'm pretty certain they'll do that without any charge to you.

I guess its South East & not North East.

I'm positive that it is South-East. Yeah, and the ideal place for installation will be the roof, unless you are higher up in your flat and have a balcony or a window facing south east.I would suugest you to call up a Tata Sky dealer over to your place, so he can evaluate the situation and advise accordingly.
