Tata Indicom broadband is not on telephone ?

Tata Indicom towers and cable laying work is going on in full swing in our area. They say they are launching Tata Indicom services, Does that mean we also get tata indicom broadband services?Area: The Nilgirs, Tamil Nadu
 
Could be. yea tata BB is not over a telephone, but over a telephone wire.
 
Yes it means tata Indicom Broadband, and they do not use your telephone line your tele phone line doesn;t matter to them, they will bring seperate cable cat 5E thinner than your Tv cable
 
If its on the tel wire its supposed to be DSL connection which will be better than the cat5 connection (which is shared)

No dear ADSL uses telephone wire which is old technology in USA, whereas in my ares they working with CISCI 3950 switches of 24 ports each having capacity of 1Giga.

They are creating MetroE thechnology.
anyways the most advance will be WiMax which is going to b started by intel in India on experimental 😀
 
but when ??? If Wi Max is going to be started why invest in WiFi . Leave it
