Tata Docomo Broadband?

OK, Saw ad on IBF & clicked. Seems different from Tata Indicom Broadband (Plans have some minor similarity)

Tata Docomo Wired Broadband

Tata Indicom

Tata Communications SME :: Broadband

Both are talking about free routers and some diamond pendant. So different branding across region? Or like a reseller ?

i thought they were replacing the indicom brand with docomo brand everywhere except for delhi ncr?

Hmm... I have been living under a rock then - Cos I missed this news. But I can confirm that as of 1-2 months ago, they were still using Indicom branding on their wired broadband. Hence this question.

Looking at the plans - 50 GB @ 100 mbps for 6666 - great.

i do not see the charm of 100mbps with 50 or even 250GB data. there are few services that would require 100mbps. and you would end up with your data in a couple of hours if you manage to find such a service.

And 50 GB for 6666 - Thats more than 100 per GB. And 400/GB beyond 50 GB. I would really like to meet a person (home user) who would choose this.

They did have some good plans till last month or so. Was quite tempted to get a connection. But, 5GB @ 2mbps for 1000 bucks is sad.

I'm also using Rs. 1,149 Plan with 1MB surfing speed. Great plan it is.
