Speaking to reporters on the occasion, Mr Tony D'silva, chief operating officer of the company, said here today: "We plan to make DTH truly a common man's product."Sun Direct offers a basic package of more than 130 channels for an introductory offer of Rs 499 (5-month subscription) along with free dish and set top box and Rs 1,000 towards installation charges.Mr D'silva said that following its success in other states, the company hopes to be successful in West Bengal also. Sun Direct's packages are customised in such a way that the subscriber pays only for what he sees, he added.
