Suggest - Secondary Dual SIM Basic Smartphone budget below 10K

Been using feature phones as secondary for a long time but now getting a good feature phone is pretty difficult , so thinking of getting basic smartphone

1.Better battery
2.Dual SIM
3.Display size between 4-4.5"
4.wont be using more than 2-3 apps
5.Metal body if its possible in this budget
6.Brands i try to avoid micromax , lava , intex , samsung , iball
7.since 4G is catching up , 4G option would be nice
8.Lower the cost better it is

I just now placed order for Xolo Era X (phone for mom)

Time for review of Xolo Era X as a secondary / parent's phone.

So I used it for about a day. Overall it is upto my expectations.

Here is the review:
  1. 2GB memory is sufficient for light use (calling, whatsapp, music, small games)
  2. No lag observed - touch responses are good enough
  3. 8GB storage has just 3.5GB free space (rest used by android and in built apps)
  4. Space can be increased by SD card upto 32GB (which I have not)
  5. VoLTE works out of box. + you can have one more 2G SIM
  6. Phone body is some hardened plastic but it has Gorilla glass (gorilla glass is all i cared about)
  7. FM radio / GPS / bluetooth
  8. Camera is 8MP and 5MP - photos are not so great but acceptable for 5.5K phone
Both front and rear camera has flash
  9. It has Lollipop but they have promised Marshmallow soon (GOD knows when though!)
Overall I would say its a phone for poor people who want latest features at low cost.

PS:
Reviews on Amazon are bad though. I may be lucky to have good piece. So touchwood!!
But some reviewers on Amazon do not understand that its a cheap phone and should not expect worldclass things in it.

okay !! after a week usage of Moto E sold it and then got Redmi Note 3
i dont, know how i changed my mind to 5.5 " screen , but got the Redmi Note 3 again from the same local store , they manage to get it online and selling outside for some margin
got the 3 Gb ram version for 12.5k and so far so good
mobile is not so huge for the screen size [ earlier used Galaxy Note 1 which was not handy ]
and so far so good lets see how it goes

as i have Mipad already , getting used to Redmi took no time !

Redmi note 3 - 3GB is selling for 11K on Mi store. (Diwali offer)

Just like you even I bought Redmi 3S prime (for me) (even if earlier I had decided against it!)

And Mi guys reduced rates for it by 500Rs. So I had loss of 500Rs even before I got mobile delivery!! 😀

Worst is Redmi 3S prime didnt come with earphone OR screenguard OR atleast screen cover.

Which was shocking as I assumed that those are now common things included in package.

So I guess my additional expense would be around 500Rs for accessories.

Even though I am not happy on hardware part (no gorilla glass, no earphone, hybrid SIM)

Xiaomi MIUI (interface) is superb.

Also happy with finger print sensor.

Redmi note too didnt have any screen guard or back case just charger and phone

made a good decision, xiaomi is better than xolo/lava/micromax/gionee anyday imho.

it was either Moto or xiaomi or Oppo , since i have xiaomi Mipad already i was okay with xiaomi , moto E sure was a better device except for the onscreen buttons and no SIM tray

yes , MIUI is nice but on every aspect keeps reminding iOS

finger print scanner timing is as good as iPhone 6S , long run would tell which stands

Being similar to iOS is actually advantage to me. Because I was already using iPhone 6 and I arranged everything (on home screen) almost same fashion as iOS.
