Suggest me a good ISP for 1 Mbps connection

Hi,I am thinking of going for a high speed cable internet atleast 1 Mbps (in Mumbai only), please tell me which ISP is the best. I want to watch YouTube videos, so is 1 Mbps is ok for video? What is the average download speed (the speed when you download a file from the net) one gets with 1 Mbps speed? Someone told me it is between 50 to 150 Kbps, but I am not sure.I do not want a telephone. So MTNL/BSNL are not my options. Please guide me and let me know which one offers a consistent speed. Thanks.
