Submitting URL to directories

As I am new to SEO I need your help for following. Please any one help me to clear.

1) Shall we submit url to directories daily? May I know the limit of submission per day and per month?

2) How often can we submit url to the same directories?

3) Submitting deep links i.e, inner pages does increase website ranking?
 
Web directories used to be a rage 5-7 years back. Not now. If you ask me I would suggest you to focus on other methods like better content, social media and the like. There might be some high quality directories where you can submit.
1) That is not even valid nowdays. Focus on quality not quanitty. Also stay away from automated submissions. Try to vary the title and descriptions.
2) Depends on the directory and its moderation policy I guess.
3) Ideally it should. Am not sure.
