Strange problem with windows task manager

Some days back i was viewing the applications running in task manager. I am not sure of what excatly happened but i guess is pressed some key accidently and then i recognise that the task manager interface has changed. I can only view the taks running and nothing else. I cant view what applications are running , not the networking tab. Infact all tabs have diappeared and the task manager looks like this.

What can i do to get it back??
Also i have witnessed this most of the times i start my system, that even if its system is kept idle the process light on CPU conitniuosly flashes as if something is being processed but then i cant just check what applications are running due to prob in task manager

P.S. I am using windows xp +sp2 professional
 
Double-click in the blank space to the left of "End Task" button!
 
if you want a good task manager replacement then use process explorer from sysinternals.com which is freeware and shows much more information on processess
