Anyone on Airtel facing problems with Steam today. I got pinged that the client was downloading the update very slowly. I tried it at my end and same thing. Getting 5-6KBps as per Resource Monitor. I also tried with my VPN and similar issues. So, I doubt Airtel is throttling data from Steam servers. Any Steam user here can check the download speeds they are getting for client update and game downloads?
 
I am getting horrifying 10 kbps speeds, and after reaching like 36% or 48% it just stops downloading. Nada. (This is for the steam client update)
 
Finally updated the client, I am getting 280 kbps download speed for game downloads which is just stupid, what the hell went wrong?
 
It took me 4 days to update my steam client! It got stuck at 30% and then after 4 days after running in the background, it showed me that my client had updated!
