Hello, I am taking an new connection and i wonder which STB is better, i knw sum thompsons have freezing problems.... Does Hymex software get regularly updated and can be downloaded off satellite ? What versions of "both the STB's" are Latest - and i mean Hardware version (Not software version), Anybody has purchased STB in latest can post their hardware version numbers....

i dont know who tell you that thompsons have freezing problems i fact i am using the thompsons box with no problem with new ver or the old ver there was no problem

Go with a box which has SVideo OR HDMI connectors.RCA audio/video outs connectors are outdated and provide the lowest possible video quality
