Start jio set top box via tv remote?

Hi,

I have latest Sony bravia x750h model attached to my jio set top box. I have hdmi cec turned on in TV and Set top box.

When I turn off TV using remote then TV and set top box both get turned off. When I use TV remote to start, only TV gets start and Jio set top box doesn't.

When I use jio remote to start then both of the tv and box get start but to turn off only set top box get turned off.

Any setting which I might be missing? I am interested in starting jio set top box via TV remote only.

That's how it works for me too.. mine is a 10-12 years old Sony TV.

I too have old Sony bravia led TV and its port is also not working kind of loose.so I brought convertor hdmi to av and its working good till date

Yes my Sony TV also turn on with Jio STB remote but not getting turn off. I have to use TV remote to make it off. Since few weeks i have to press button twice on Jio remote to make TV on
