Star Sports HD3 soon on D2H

Not sure if a World Cup special channel or a regular one. Does Star have enough content to warrant a 3rd HD channel?

Star is moving to the pattern where whatever is on SD, is simultaneously on the corresponding HD channel.

It's the mirror of Star Sports 3 (Hindi channel?) .

There's also a HD4 channel which is a mirror of Star Sports 4. I don't think this is coming soon on D2H.

Thank god they have 4 HD channels now. Most of the time, they ended up showing a lot of matches on only SD.

Yup. looks like they launched two. I guess we will have 4 HD channels almost mirroring the 4 SD ones.

Yes, HD3 and HD4 added and broadcasting on Tata Sky already. HD3 also added on Airtel DTH.

No idea why D2H hasn't added HD4 yet. If 2 World Cup matches are played, the English commentary feeds are on HD1 and HD4. Star Sports is also cunning to do this way. Most people will already have HD1 and HD2. In order to push HD4, they are airing English feed on that channel instead of HD2.

Star Sports (SS) is really confusing with their broadcast schedule.
They generally mirror SS1 content on SS3 with Hindi feed. But SS2 had Hindi commentary for the content which was broadcast on SS4 on English. But now they have stopped (?) broadcasting CWC on SS2 (may be due to Ranji Trophy matches) and SS2 content in Hindi feed is coming on Channel V!
