so i wanted to buy a graphic card without actually upgrading my entire PC right now,
which one would atleast play games in medium settings preferably like Battlefield 3.
So for now which one should i be getting under 5k.
Spec
C2C 1.8 GZ
3GB DDR2 ram
Motherboard: Intel 946 gz.
I wanted to buy one which would maybe also work on a new PC whenever i upgrade.
Might consider this will it work on Intel 946 gz. ?

abeye oye sab kha chaleye gayai...reply karo yar 😛

lol one guy was running it on dual core on fk
is the motherboard not supported ?

Your mobo will support the gpu you linked. Just make sure you have proper psu. Atleast 500w recommended. 400wstandard would be a bottle neck ...

well i don't think my current PSU has that much power even the F**g PSU power label has been ripped off lol 😛
so any suggestion or I will have to buy a new PSU for Rs 2400 ?
Does the HD 7770 or HD 7750 have a way to bypass PSU usage and rather just plug it in a normal power socket or something rather than using PSU power ?

400W wth 17A on 12V rail

I think this might be my PSU config. 😛

you 're suggesting him sandy chipset for his LGA 775 mobo ... If he wanna upgrade. He should be ready to spend for mobo, processor, & ram and ofcourse new case ...
Its ivy not sandy & obviously i was suggesting a complete upgrade

7750 is little overpriced for the performance it delivers. . I'd say you're better off with a 6770 which is faster than 7750 but uses more power.
Regarding psu. First try it with your current set up. Think about an upgrade if you have heating issues ...

ok but do 7750 or 7770 have external power ports or something for people who don't have that a powerful PSU ?

7750/7770 cards are physically short and doesn’t require any external power, so literally mean you can plug it into just about any desktop system. All you need is an empty PCIe slot--no need to check how powerful your power supply is or anything.
But there 're low-end & worse for gaming ...
