Spotify Cast Issues On Google Home Mini & Mi Smart Speakers

From the past few weeks Spotify just freaks out while casting to Google Home Mini and Mi Smart Speakers. It just doesn't play even though I can see track time progressing in the app. After few disconnects and reconnects it would start playing but the next track won't play.

This is happening on both of my Google Assistant based Smart Speakers i.e. Google Home Mini as well as Mi Smart Speakers. And this happens only while casting Spotify. All other music streaming services works absolutely fine with no hiccups.

Anyone else here seeing this issue?

So I did a lot of digging and finally found out that it had something to do with TCP MSS Clamping on my router (not to be confused with MTU). My LCO ISP changed his upstream provider to a different one and it needed change in PPPoE settings i.e. username, password and service name changed.

Apparently for my old ISP the TCP MSS Clamping was set at 1452. I disabled it and re-enabled it and it changed to 1412. And now it working like a charm without hiccups.
