Speedtest.net Airtel NOIDA Server gives unrestricted speeds on tests

For me it lasted about 45 days. I wonder why and how it is capped for me now while others have it uncapped?

Did you check with wired connection ? I just ran a test and it was limited only by WiFi speed.

Yes. My WiFi speed was earlier over 600Mbps. Now wired and WiFi are limited to around 130.

that is strange, is optical connection fine ? What are the stats on optical connection.

Yes, optical connection is fine. Maybe it has to do with the number of users on the GPON or in the area?

Is it still giving unrestricted speed results on noida server or have they fixed it?

They had fixed it for a while but now it is again giving full speed.

Strangely for me it's struck at my plan speed. @ delhi.

Not sure but three days back they had installed one more box at the same pole from where my connection was coming since then the speed test from Noida server are getting capped @my plan speed.

It was capped for me for a few months as well while others reported no capping. I think it depends on individual account as some get capped. In my case it was uncapped when I first got the connection but after a month I got an annual plan and it got capped. Now, after about 3 months, it has become uncapped again.

It anyway doesn't work anymore, at least for Mumbai Region customers.

Try from ookla app on android. Though speed are not as before however I am unsure thats due to my local congestion or ...

For me, pings to the noida server are also now higher. Not sure if it has anything to do with moving to NAT as last month I got moved to NAT as well.
