Speed Increased To 2 Mbps Frm 29th Dec 06

Yes, I am getting great speed for downloading in BSNL broadband. I have already quit Airtel Broadband connection. BSNL after all a Govt. connection and I am very satisfied in Broadband service. Actually some touts are there in India for favouring Private Operators like Reliance, Tata, Airtel etc.

Agree.....this is BSNL man....they can do anything...lol!! must say...if BSNL can give more attention towards customers.....other private companies cant even compete with it....after all its a govt. service.....secure n reliable. u can say BSNL Shining ( india shining too @ interenet connections rates )

max download 24hrs (256 ul)

Me too from bangalore but i never experienced any slow speed infact i almlost get speed arnd 32 to 35 KBPS i am in Home 900 UL plus plan.
Only thing that disapoint me is i dont have a bigger H/D

The speed increase applies only to the download capped plans. Does not apply to any plan where you have "Unlimited" anywhere in the brochure!

Probably the idea is for the end user to go overboard & exceed the limit & get billed for the excess downloads.

I am on the "900+" plus "Rs. 111/- Lo Kar lo Baat" plan. I get Unlimited phone calls to all BSNL land & mobile lines within Gujarat circle for free. Can't beat that.
 

Oh my God !!!! BSNL !!! what have u done U messed up the whole thing 🙁 Life was better before 2mbps announced I m the unlucky 900 ul pune guy!!! well those were the days when every download was @ 29-30kbps even in rapid now http and rapid is @ 10-13 kbps 🙁 only flash get givin 29 kbps !!! why have u done this BSNL !!! I want my happy days back
 
^^ dude.. the speeds did come to a crawl for a while.. but.. its all steady now.. guess it was those underground cables..ur tellin me that ur not disappointed that u cant have faster speeds even though u pay more?
