Hi I'm on airtel's 40Gb 16mbps plan here in Chandigarh.
After quota of 40Gb the speed will be reduced to 1 Mbps.
Anyone of you have any experience do you really get 1Mbps or it's just a gimmick?

Why would you expect it to be a gimmick? Don't you get 16Mbps, if not more than that before FUP?

As to the speeds after FUP, I get around 1.2Mbps.

I'm sceptical as I've received bad service from reliance earlier. Just changed my provider this month.
Yes I'm on v-fiber. Upload speeds are 1/4 of download speed~4mbps.

Would be either ADSL or V-Fiber, FTTH is usually only in apartment complexes.

Aah, I see, Airtel's speeds are usually always above the quoted amount, unless there are some serious issues. If your current 16Mbps is around that range, there should be no concern to reduce it down to anything less than 1Mbps after FUP.
