Mostly they would go for renewing the license and some minor spectrum purchase. Seems like no one wants to go for 700Mhz or lower end spectrum. Is it due to high base price by the govt this time too?

Jio and Airtel already said they won't purchase 700 MHz at the current base price.

Interestingly all spectrum that was sold, went at base price only, as the demand did not exceed the availability in any circle in any band in all 4 rounds.

This will only show how much of the block in a specific band is being bid for. The detailed doc will only be published once the auction ends.

It would have ended yesterday, only 3 telecom operators which have decided not to interfere with each other so that they can get everything at base prices.
Hopefully by the end of 2021 Airtel and Jio can launch 5G on existing 4g bands.
