sony k510i - display issue

I recently bought the K510i and I've noticed it has two strange problems I never had with my Nokia1) the display stays on permanently while I'm talking and really chews my batt. life2) It is not possible to speak on the phone while charging as it gives 'charging error'. This means that if phone is low on batt. I can't use it at all. Any one else out here facing similar issues with their Sony phones?
 
u should change ur battery
