I suppose this is only in your exchange. As I didn't faced any problem in this month, btw, I am also from Cal. though I only use the connection at free hours mainly. Last month for 3 to 4 days I faced a lot of problem even for two days it was totally disconnected. From what exchange you are?

yes.....during free time its fine!!.....but during day time the speed is slow....may be in my area

I get good speed all the time. No problem whatsoever. No downtime either. B) But still I am double minded now as to keep this connection or not. I am applying for an Airtel landline next week but I heard internet speed is poor in Airtel. So I think I will use Airtel for phone calls (the attractive thing being 3 free local numbers and they also give 2 phone sets). If I chose to use internet over BSNL line, then I will also have to pay 160 per month (even If I keep it incoming only) as phone rental, which makes it 500+160 = 660 for 256 kbps, 1 GB data limit. :angry: PS: Any news about new tariffs? 🙄
