slow browsing speed, but full download speed

i m getting full download speed with utorrent(above 200 kb/s ).but very slow browsing speed .some times while downloading with browser i get speed like few bytes /s. some sites like yahoo r opening with normal speed .but with google even this site it sucks.i haven't change any setting of modem(D-Link GLB-502T) since bsnl had it set up for me year ago.i reinstalled my system(win Xp sp2) 2 weeks back.& problem has started from that day. i thought cable cut is the reason.then i changed my dns to open dns next day & i got normal speed for 3-4 days.but problem started again after that.i hv also tried tcp optimizer ,but it's not working. i m using comodo firewall & avira antivirus.
 
ensure that you are still using opendns .. incase it might have changed..
 
I have the same problem since yesterday! my downloading speed in firefox is 100 kbps to 200 kbps and surfing speed suxx big time! it takes like 1 min. to open sites like orkut n facebook. anyone have any solution to problem like this?
 
have you tried opendns..phew..tired of promoting opendns 🙂
 

i hv tried open dns but it's not working. my modem setting page is not opening. is there any possibility of virus.

Start RUN type cmd type
ipconfig/all
Post data here
Check the default gateway for your modem/router.
 
i'm also getting same problem----slow browsing ,full download speed in torrents but slow download speed in link-removed.
