Hello,
I am on 256kbps Happy Hours Pack. I live in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. Sify Service here is very good. 99.99% Network Uptime!
Strangely enough i started to observe that after 10PM in the night, I am getting Mindblowing speeds. This happens too frequently. I get a download speed of 450 kilobytes/second. I have downloaded Call of Duty 4 (6.35GB) in 4 hours. My data packets sent and received are also too high.

which area are you from dude
 
does sify maintain a cache in their local server; that's the only reason apart from misconfiguration....
 
Other than the day i have posted the Thread, I have received the same speed for 2 times more. It always occurs after 10PM in the night.
Check the screenie. I am getting 400+ kb/s. You can even see my Sify BB Client Icon in my taskbar :yahoo:

hey bro which plan u use and how much u get speed at the time of downloading plz send me replay iam malik from pune
 
I am using 64kbps Unlimited 399rs Plan. I get good speeds (sometimes) after 10 PM.
 

i also use same plan as u but i getting only maximum 7kb/s at the time of downloading and u get 300kb/show can i increase the speedplz tell me bro
 
u r getting speeds almost 30 times to what u deserve........:cool2:....
 
Check your peer list ! maybe some person usin sify also downloadin the same torrent... My friend had experienced a similar thing 😀

but that person dhiru is gettting those speeds even in HTTP downloads which means that there is something wrong with the sify server

Me to experienced the speed but for 1 day only, I asked how did I got that speed with the sify broadband person they are unable to answer it.

😡

Now I get only 30kbps for upload and download.:huh:
 
it is definitely because some one in the sify local lan sharing the file. go to peers sharing the file and and see the ip of the highest uploader, the number will be close to your ip given by sify
