MTNL Mumbai SHOCKED: MTNL started 3rd party advertising with popups

Today I saw SNAPDEAL advertisement as a popup similar to the MTNL advertisements (buy static ip, free calls) popup. I had opened flipkart and got this snapdeal popup, I was surprised and when I moved my cursor to it I could see MTNL affiliate in the link, before I could take screenshot, it disappeared.


MTNL has crossed the lines this time.
 
Block 203.94.227.140 IP at router level or in your adblock filter.
 
Ya, only few of us will do that. But, this means that mtnl is generating more revenue from the service we are paying for!
 
Right thing to do is complain through every avenue available to you. Daily. Till this is stopped.
 
Having it for months now. I have httpseverywhere but on sites that are not HTTPS it appears and its js files sometimes mess up websites and I have to reload. I blocked the IP address but it still appears sometimes randomly. Looks like they have another server. It has appears in mobile most times when I am not near my pc or laptop so still haven't captured the IP address.
